Full Job Description

Pyramid LLC is seeking an experienced Drywall Installer and Finisher technician. We specialize in a wide field of contracting work, ranging from single-unit kitchen & bath remodels to super-large construction projects. Drywall Installer and Finisher will be measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. To be successful as a Drywall Installer and Finisher, you should be able to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high quality of work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisor or homeowner regarding painting/drywall specifications and job requirements.
• Select premixed paints or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
• Paint surfaces
• Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler.
• Erects scaffolding or sets up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
• Provides information and recommendations to prepare bids and estimates.
• Duties will include Framing, Installation of Drywall, Finishing, and Painting.

Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in finishing drywall
• Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail
• Lift and/or pull 25 kg., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts, or other equipment.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend, or kneel while wearing a tool belt
• Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions
